A Lifetime of Art and Expression
Linda Knowles has been an artist for over 50 years. She specializes in acrylic paintings, mosaics, and photography. Linda attended L.A. Wilson Technical School and majored in “Technology Arts” where she found her start on Madison Avenue in New York City.
She began work as a subcontractor for Northrop Grumman (global aerospace technology contractor) as a technical graphic artist. She produced drawings for one of the largest defense contracts in the world. She then moved to Illinois where she continued to work at Northrop Grumman.
After moving to Tennessee, she used her skills at a marketing job and soon began to develop her own party decorating business. Linda moved to Florida in 1993 and was inspired by Florida’s natural beauty. Her work has been displayed in juried art shows across South Florida.
Gallery Roots in Fort Pierce
Linda has owned multiple art galleries around the downtown Fort Pierce area and now calls 3001 N US Highway “home” to her newest gallery location with her rebranded business name, Linda Knowles Gallery & Gifts! Initially, when Linda applied for her first business, the name Linda Knowles was already associated with a company. Linda was elated when she received the news that her name was now available for her rebrand! The name “Linda Knowles” is also trademarked and patented.
